Hi Everyone!
I hope all my DA friends are doing well and had a great Mother's Day weekend
Sorry I haven't been around much as of late, but my computer died over a month ago and none to say I feel like I have lost something apart of me. I have a temporary ancient old dinosaur of a computer to check emails and post, but it so so slow. It does not run any of my programs for working my website or any of my photo shop programs. It doesn't like FB or IE either, but I prefer firefox anyways. Lately though, I just feel like a part of me has just lost it's spirit to draw. Because of finances (Our light bill for the past 3 months has been about $500 a month and yet the old farmhouse is still cold - just killing us financially. Finally getting caught up though. But $500 is like gold to us.),  I haven't been able to get any art supplies, so I am slowly just losing my fire to want to create anything.  I have been working on a Mother's Day gift for my mom you can check it out on my blog or facebook page [link] links are below. I did't get it done in time but my mom loves it so far.



I do have some good news though. I did get accepted into school for fall. Still waiting to hear on my financial aid, but will be majoring in web developing. So I am very excited about that. Presently, looking for work and plan on applying at  a few places this week. Not to many places out there want to hire someone over 45 and the job market is terrible around here. So asking for prayers that I find a job, so I can buy art supplies and a new computer.


I just have to say that everyone's recent works are so fantastic and inspiring. Your works lift my spirits.
