I'm not usually one for faveing photos, but I can't resist this one. I like the slight fuzziness, and the waterdrops, the close-cropped shot, and the fact that you chose a rose that's just a little past its prime -- rot is beginning to set in here and there. This is such an Oregon rose! :) There are too many photos of perfect roses in the world anyway. ;)

Thank you for the comments and the fav! I tend to go for shots most professional photographers wouldn't care for and I like trying to achieve soft dreamy slightly out-of focus effect. It's a technique I am trying to perfect.

Very beautiful… the water makes a nice contrast with the yellowish colour of the rose. Too bad it looks blurred in full view.
